Mohawk Online Limited Announces 2022 Revenue Results

(Kahnawà:ke – 18, Seskéha/August 2023) Mohawk Online Limited (“Mohawk Online”) reported its revenue results for the fiscal period of January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022. For this period, Mohawk Online has reported overall gross revenue of $ 4,114,912, with total net profits of $1,119,992.

Mohawk Online’s financial results have been confirmed through an independent audit completed by Moore Stephens International, who have attested to the accuracy and fairness of presentation of the financial statements and related disclosures.

“There have been many significant changes that affected Mohawk Online’s operations and revenue in 2022”  said Dean Montour, Mohawk Online’s Chief Executive Officer. “Beginning in February 2022, Entain PLC, an international sports betting and gambling company listed on the London Stock Exchange, acquired our B2B partner Avid International Limited.  Further to that, In April 2022, Ontario launched their new iGaming model which had a huge negative impact on our revenue” continued Dean Montour.  “However, in spite of the changes in the Ontario business, Mohawk Online continues to be profitable with positive metrics and favourable results for our sportsbook and casino products in the rest of Canada operations”.

“Since 2015, Mohawk Online has been highly successful and generated over $39M in ‘own-source’ revenue for the Community” said Ratsénhaienhs Ross Montour, who is a Shareholder Representative on behalf of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke. “Mohawk Online has been a source of pride for the community, and we will continue to fight the battle with outside governments to protect the business and our internet gaming jurisdiction”.

In July 2022, Mohawk Online announced that it had committed to make a donation of $5 million over a three-year period to the Kahnawà:ke Cultural Arts Center (“KCAC”) Capital Campaign, which is working to raise funds toward the building’s estimated cost of $55.7 million.  “The Kahnawà:ke Cultural Arts Center is a historic ‘legacy’ project for our community, and we are absolutely thrilled and honored to be the Lead Donor for the initiative” continued Dean Montour.

In addition, Mohawk Online made donations to the Kateri Memorial Foundation for the annual Karonhiarahstha’s Winter Wonderland Christmas Tree Giveaway and the 8th Annual Charity Golf Tournament held at the Kanawaki Golf Course, and well as the Kahnawake Figure Skating Club and the Kahnawake Teen CrossFit group.
